“There is a vale
which none hath seen”

A PRIVATE HOUSE
IN THE NEWLANDS VALLEY
THE HOUSE
SLEEPS 8 - FOUR BEDROOMS
The original 18th-century farmhouse
Built in the 1750s as a traditional Cumbrian farmhouse, The House has been carefully restored while retaining the character and atmosphere of its long history. Sleeping up to eight, it is a generous and comfortable place for families and friends to gather, with the Newlands fells quite literally on the doorstep.
THE BYRE
SLEEPS 2 - ONE BEDROOM
Created from the former byre and log store of the 18th-century barn adjoining the farmhouse, The Byre is a spacious and characterful retreat for two. At its heart is a generously equipped kitchen, designed for those who enjoy cooking, lingering over meals and escaping to the fells.
A PLACE WITH A STORY
Low High Snab has stood in the Newlands Valley for centuries. The farmhouse and adjoining barn have changed gradually with each generation, but their relationship with the surrounding landscape has remained remarkably constant.
STEP OUTSIDE
A retreat for two in the former barn.
With the fells on your doorstep, Low High Snab is the perfect base for walking, exploring and enjoying the best of the Lake District.
